“People stop us all the time,” Garry said during an interview at Starbucks on Main Street a couple of weeks ago.

“Every day someone says something to us.”

Garry and Jason, who are 28,“I embrace that I have a twin. My mom always said, ‘you have no real friends in this world. Your real best friend is your brother. That made us stronger.’ ”

A friend persuaded them to come to East Hampton less than a year ago, and so far it has paid off. Here they were spotted by Bruce Weber, the fashion photographer well known for his ad campaigns for Calvin Klein, Abercrombie and Fitch, Ralph Lauren, and Versace.

Mr. Weber photographed them for V Man, a men’s fashion magazine, and Vogue Italia. Before coming to East Hampton, they were discovered at a film festival and signed by Francis Grill, the founder of the Click modeling agency.

“Here are these two people, who are not only legends in their field, but who are really genuine people who we have personal and business relationships with,” Jason said. “Now we’re just waiting for Bruce to put us on the billboards!”

The twins attend the Calvary Baptist Church in East Hampton.

They don’t think of themselves as “religious,” but rather, “we have a relationship with God,” Garry said.

Their relationship with God influences their own relationship and the way they view life. “We never fight,” Jason said. “There is only time for love.”

“Life is too short,” Garry added. “You only live once. You have to live life to the fullest and only have love for each other.”
